Who knew that many years ago
God fashioned out of love
A new creation for this earth
Sent from His home above

For man He give a woman friend
To love close by his heart
Beneath his arm He took the rib
That man should not depart

Through all these years, the marriage vow
Which stood the test of time
Has budded in the years of growth
To make a love sublime.

There is no force upon this earth
Could tear your love apart
Because by love your joined to one
And love is in God�s heart.
